We take pride in being an accredited Recognition for Prior Achievement Center (Pusat Pengiktirafan Pencapaian Terdahulu) that offers a fast-track program specifically for automotive technical workers who want to obtain an SKM Level 3 certification. With this assessment, working individuals who have the skills but no formal qualification are given the opportunity to obtain official accreditation, opening up more job opportunities and career growth for them.
BASIC MECHANICS & VEHICLE INSPECTION TRAINING
Programme Objective
This programme is built on the basics of vehicle inspection. Participants will be taken through the foundations and essentials needed for vehicle servicing, maintenance and inspection.
Programme Overview
This programme covers theory classes as well as demonstrations to further improve participant’s foundation, and hands-on training for skill practice and training. Upon completion, participants will receive a certification of completion, giving them a boost in confidence for their day-to-day tasks as well as an opportunity for future career growth.
Program Duration
This programme takes the course of days, from 9am to 5pm each day.
Program Outline
Participants will be taken through the following topics:
Basic car knowledge and servicing
- Basic vehicle inspection
- Understanding types of car maintenance
- Generating and implementing vehicle
- maintenance checklists
- Understanding of vehicle roadworthiness (safety)
- Handling of vehicles during a breakdown
In accordance with PSMB guidelines, the course fee is 100% claimable from PSMB with the SBL scheme.
Fast Track Course for Automotive Technical Professionals
Programme Objective
This programme is built on the basics of vehicle inspection. Participants will be taken through the foundations and essentials needed for vehicle servicing, maintenance and inspection.
Programme Overview
This programme covers theory classes as well as demonstrations to further improve participant’s foundation, and hands-on training for skill practice and training. Upon completion, participants will receive a certification of completion, giving them a boost in confidence for their day-to-day tasks as well as an opportunity for future career growth.
Programme Outline
This course will include a 1-day practical assessment and 3 coaching sessions that lead up to the assessment. With minimal documentation needed, it is a hassle-free and fast-track process to earn a SKM Level 3 Certification in Motor Vehicle Inspection.
Requirement
This programme is open to Malaysian citizens aged 15 years and above.
